     In nineteenth century middle-Europe, orphaned teenage twins Maria and Friedago to live with their uncle Gustav Weil, who heads the Brotherhood, a vigilantegroup trying to stamp out vampirism. But their methods are random and misplacedand the only result is a terrorised populace.
