　　《生命之课》根据俄国作家妥思陀耶夫斯基的情人描写其关系的日记改编而成。可以说，一切刺激都反映在画家的创作中，幸福、嫉妒和失恋起着相同的作用：促进艺术创作，这种激情构成了此片的基础。《没有佐伊的生活》是一个又臭又长的故事，由弗朗西斯·科波拉和他17岁的女儿苏菲娅·科波拉共同编剧，可谓科波拉家族的集体创作。典型的伍迪·艾伦式喜剧《俄狄甫斯的烦恼》令人想起他早期的滑稽片，但却丧失了伍迪·艾伦素有的有机胡闹幽默和感情奔放。虽然刻板而缺乏生气，此片依然不失为吸引人的片子。
